The Project
CK Contracts were appointed by The Readypower Group to construct a new purpose built regional office for their teams based in Scotland.

Challenges & Solutions
- Challenge: Working within a live depot environment to ensure the day to day operations of Readypower could be maintained.
- Solution: We had to ensure a fully segregated worksite was created at the same time as co-ordinating material deliveries to ensure we could maintain programme and protect the existing depot operations.
- Impact: This project highlighted the success of having a fully co-ordinated approach with our client team throughout the build process.
- Challenge: This project had to be delivered to tight timescales as the existing office was closing in the Autumn and staff had to have a new facility to transition into prior to that taking effect.
- Solution: We made sure our programme was ambitious, but achievable. Working closely with our sub contract partners we developed a fully integrated worksite with multiple activities being able to take place simultaneously.
- Impact:The project was delivered on time to allow a smooth transition form old to new.
Results & Outcome
The project was delivered on time and within the client expected budget envelope. The end product has also exceeded client expectations.
